It’s been almost 17 years since this song dropped! If you wiki “Flava In Ear” it’s release date was Oct 31 1994. Crazy to think it was that long ago. Time just passes us by in the blink of an eye. The digital era spawned a lot of horrible djs and what have you. On the brighter side of things, a bunch of acapellas that were never released on wax began to surface throughout the web. One that I hold close to me is the “Flava In Ya Ear Remix” So I decided to do a remix of the remix. Very simple boom bap ORIGINAL production. Well..I shut up now and let the music speak for itself!

Simpsons DMC Routine.
Everyone who knows me personally knows that I live,breathe and eat The Simpsons. Surfing youtube late last night I stumbled upon one of the most hilarious and innovative battle sets I’ve ever seen. Good ol Tony Prince (founder of DMC) has expanded his franchise to the viral markets. DJ’s who would rather keep it off stage and showcase their sets in the bedroom pay a small entry fee,upload a video to youtube,and then are judged by public votes. Dj Synaps aka FONG FONG is guy you see in the video below.He gets my vote!
Tulsa Ok!
We on the West Coast are quick to judge a book by its cover. When I mention to my Dj affiliates that I got booked for a party in Tulsa they’re all shockingly surprised that nightlife even exist out there. Look, Tulsa is where it’s at! The people show tremendous hospitality,are very humble,and might I add the women are gorgeous with the least amount of superficialness. With that being said I want to give much props toTulsa! This past weekend I Dj’d at Friction Night Club in the Hard Rock casino with DJ Ziploc.>. We had it jumpin from start to finish and literally might have blown the speakers out! The pic is taken from Zips phone.. Great crowd with tremendous energy!

Transformers-Dark Of The Moon released today.
I was really disappointed with Revenge Of The Fallen,so I’m crossing my fingers that this third installment presented in 3D & IMAX lives up to the hype.
Being a huge fan of the 80′s cartoon and the action figures I decided to create a my first official logo using the Transformers font. I can’t take all the credit though. My good friend Neros 1 actually did the design. This was back in 2002. Wow,9 years ago! Flashback 3 years prior to the sticker.Platurn and I produced a track using all Transformers records. You have to excuse the sound quality for it was recorded on a Tascam 424 (analog 4 track) and we didn’t no what the hell we were doing. Trust me it’s more than meets the EAR!

Living in Vegas the past 3 years has exposed me to a variety of electronic music. Electro house being in the forefront. I’ve witnessed producers like Afrojack,Chuckie,David Guetta,and Deadmau5 go from getting booked out here once a year to owning residences at the hottest clubs on the strip. One of the newest additions to share the limelight of these talents is none other than Dj A Trak. For those of you who have been living under a rock. Him and Armannd Van Helden have been writing music under the moniker Duck Sauce. I am truly inspired and a big fan of their work. Heavy sample based House. Call it Nu Disco,Jackin,Funky House or just straight up House we need more of it Vegas! Shit… we need more of it period! Hence the reason I did this mix.
